1920s Antique Rose Silk Hand Embroidered Piano Shawl
What was once invented as a decorative piece to protect and cover a piano quickly became a fancied wardrobe staple among young flappers in the 1920s. From Norma Talmadge to Ziegfeld Girls, ladies around the world were grabbing these beautifully embroidered silk shawls out of the parlor and wearing them as wraps and dresses for a fringe-filled night out on the town.
Measurements: 47" x 49"
Shawl has a 1 inch tear and 2 very small holes. It also has a few small stains along edge and in embroidered pattern. Also has a few stains on the fringe. Does not overly detract from the beauty of this piece. Priced accordingly.
