1910s/1920s Beaded Rose and Bird Evening Bag

Made sometime in the late 1910s to early 1920s, this heavily beaded bag is a stunner! Made with tiny glass seed beads, this bag has a double rose motif with a pair of black birds perched above them. The design repeats on the other side. The bag is attached to a silver metal hardware with a geometric art deco motif on the front and a dainty floral art nouveau pattern along the edge. The chain strap is comprised of petite hammered rings.
The purse is lined with a colorful art nouveau floral silk fabric. Lining is in perfect condition.
Height: 16.25" from center of handle to bottom of fringe.
Has all of its beads and all of the fringe. Silver hardware is slightly tarnished.
