This striking black-and-white number is a bohemian flapper's dream!
Fashioned in a sheer lightweight cotton voile, this wonderful summer dress has beautiful contrasting black embroidery in a variety of latticework and zig-zag patterns as well as various flowers and polka dots. Embroidery work is continued on the back of the dress as well. Floral embroidery is done in an open weave pattern, allowing the slip (not included) or skin to peek through.
Dress appears more ivory in person than in these photographs.
This fabulous frock also features criss-cross black stitch seam finishings on the collar and arm holes as well as smocking details on the shoulders and across the drop waist/hips area. Fastens on the side with metal snaps.
Total Length: 46"
Condition: Very Good
Dress is in "as found" condition. It has a few small spots that may come out in a wash (see photos). It also has slight underarm stains on the back of one of the arm holes. Dress also has 2 weak spots on one of the shoulders that may eventually need to be reinforced. Still very wearable as is. Priced accordingly.
