What was once invented as a decorative piece to protect and cover a piano quickly became a fancied wardrobe staple among young flappers in the 1920s. From Norma Talmadge to Ziegfeld Girls, ladies around the world were grabbing these beautifully embroidered silk shawls out of the parlor and wearing them as wraps and dresses for a fringe-filled night out on the town.
Measurements: 51" x 51"
There are faint spots throughout. One small cigarette burn and one small 5/8” tear. Priced accordingly.
