1920s Hand Painted Celluloid Floral Bouquet Ribbon Necklace
Surround yourself with beauty wherever you go with this colorful floral bouquet necklace!
These striking celluloid pieces from the Jazz Age are becoming increasingly rare, so finding one in wonderful, original condition is a real treat!
Fashioned in soft black silk faille grosgrain ribbon, this necklace has an eye-catching pendant made of shiny black celluloid and topped with three layers of pastel hand-painted celluloid roses. The pointed edge black base has tiny painted green lines on each point giving it a leaf-like appearance.
Necklace also has two celluloid sliders, which are adorned with two petite painted roses with painted line work. These adjustable pieces allow the wearer to tighten or loosen the necklace.
Ribbon Length: 35"
Pendant: 1.25" x 1.25"
Condition: Very Good - Excellent
There are a few very minor wear spots on the ribbon and one faint stain. A few of the hand-painted lines on the leaves are fainter than the others. All of these flaws are only noticeable upon very close inspection. Does not detract. Priced accordingly.
