This product is unavailable
One glance at this suit and it's easy to see why it was so wildly popular with the likes of Cary Grant, Clark Gable and the rest of the Hollywood elite. Originally designed in the 1930s, the Palm Beach look quickly rose in popularity and became known as the American summer suit of choice. This lightweight summer blend also was touted as the Wall Street businessman's uniform for hot days.
This suit is made in Panama and crafted out of a beautiful medium-weight cotton and mohair blend. The jacket is a double-breasted 6-roll-2 with peak lapels, which were very popular at the time. It is unlined and fastens with 6 mother-of-pearl buttons. Trousers have a button fly.
Sleeve Length: 31"
Label: Bestfit Clothes Panama
Condition: Very Good
Pants have a faint water spot on the back of knee. One of the mother-of-pearl buttons on the jacket is chipped. There are a few small faint spots – nothing larger than a pencil eraser. It does not detract from the suit.
