1930s Futurism-Inspired Blue Czech Glass Bubble Necklace
This necklace is like a work of art. It's a little Deco, a little surreal, a little modern. The more you stare at it, the more you see.
Made in Czechoslovakia, this futurism-inspired piece is comprised of seven Czech glass donut like bubbles with raised centers mounted in a rectangular silver piece. Each bubble is painted on the front with a gunmetal metallic paint before being glazed and fired.
The chain of the necklace is made of alternating oblong links and round Czech glass beads. Necklace fastens with a barrel clasp.
Total Length: 16"
Condition: Very Good
Necklace shows overall signs of light wear. There are a few nicks and imperfections in the bubbles (most occurred when the piece was made). Some of the metal has a patina from age. Does not detract. Priced accordingly.
