1930s Milgrim Mink-Trimmed Wool Dress Suit - Very Old Hollywood!
This fabulous frock looks as though it could have been plucked directly from the MGM or RKO Radio Pictures wardrobe closet! It is highly reminiscent of ensembles worn by the likes of Hollywood greats such as Myrna Loy, Ginger Rogers, Joan Blondell and Joan Crawford on the silver screen in the late 1930s and early 1940s.
Fashioned in a slightly nubby warm autumnal brown wool, this striking two piece ensemble features a long sleeved dress and matching tailored mink-trimmed jacket.
Dress features a short rolled collar and decorative bodice pleating that almost creates an Art Deco sunburst feel. It has a simple straight skirt in the front with a gored back allowing for more fluidity when walking. Frock has zippers on each sleeve near the cuff as well as on the side of the dress. Side zipper has been replaced with a plastic zipper. Dress also fastens up the front with 5 fabric buttons cased in metal.
The beautiful jacket is the real show-stopper of this ensemble. This wonderfully tailored piece features a tapered waist, slightly puffed sleeves and exquisite mink accents around the collar and hem. Jacket is lined in silk and fastens up the front with six fabric buttons cased in metal.

Total Length: 25"
Condition: Very Good
Side zipper on dress has been replaced. Dress has very faint underarm discoloration. There is one small split in the mink collar at the back seam. You have to dig in there to see it. Does not detract. Priced accordingly.
