1940s Does Victorian Embroidered & Smocked Sheer Bamboo Print Rayon Dressing Gown
Exotic glamor with a hint of Victorian-era romance is exactly what you'll be channeling once you slip on this beautiful dressing gown.
Fashioned in a semi-sheer bamboo-printed shiny rayon, this striking piece has smocked shoulders and full bishop sleeves. Cuffs fasten with hook and eyes. It is adorned with three silk embroidered flower appliques.
Gown has large shoulder pads and no closures (but a snap or hook and eye could easily be added at the collar if desired.)
It is quite the unique piece and would be a wonderful addition to any boudoir!
Bust- Hips: 50"
Total Length: 55
Condition: Very Good
There is a 1" yellowish stain and pin hole under the smocking on the shoulder. There also is a tiny black pin sized spot near the bottom. There are a few small snag pin holes near the bottom hem. Doesn't detract. Priced accordingly.
