Plucked from the closet of a 1940s songstress, if this dress could talk, oh the stories it would tell! This beautiful handmade gown looks like it stepped off the silver screen.
The blouse portion of the gown is crafted in nylon and has the quintessential 1940s shoulder pads. The skirt is made of a medium-weight taffeta. Both are accented with metallic gold coin sequins, giving it a little Middle Eastern flair.
Gown has a metal side zipper and a keyhole opening at the front neckline and at the nape of the neck.
Total length: 60"
This dress has been worn and loved. There is underarm staining. The skirt has fume fading and tiny holes at the waist. There are small holes in one of the sleeves and at the back shoulder. A few tiny pinholes throughout. Priced accordingly.
