Founded in 1897, Ronson has a long history of creating high-quality and stylish luxury smoking items. Today, their products have become highly collectible.

In the early 20th century, smoking was considered to be a sign of sophistication and heightened social status. By the 1920s, it had become so popular that smokers sought out the latest smoking gadgets and cases to appear fashionable and glamorous.

This beautiful case has the three things a modern 1940s woman needed: cigarettes, a lighter and a powder compact to make sure she looks picture perfect! This compact is engine-turned and hand engraved. It has beautiful tortoise shell enamel with an ivory enamel compact lid with feminine purple enamel flowers. Compact has original mirror and powder puff.

Case is advertised to hold 9 cigarettes and has a built-in lighter at the top to light them. Case does not come with lighter fluid.
