1973 Johnny Carson Apparel Country Casual Sport Coat
Praised for his keen sense of fashion, comedian and talk show host Johnny Carson entered the fashion world in 1970 with the launch of his clothing line, Johnny Carson Apparel Inc.
Marketed to the everyday man, the line touted its precision tailoring as well as its ability to give every gentleman who wore it the "confidence of Johnny Carson."
This denim-look jacket was originally advertised as a combination of country casual and city slick with a lot of spunk. Fashioned in texturized woven Klopman polyester with two-way stretch, this blazer features patch pockets, contrasting white topstitching and horse print lining.
