1920s Dusty Rose Silk Taisho Kimono with Beautiful Hand Painted Floral & Hand Fan Motifs
Enjoy the beauty of the Orient without leaving your boudoir in this gorgeous kimono!
Fashioned in a sultry dusty rose silk, this decadent cover up features a beautiful Art Nouveau leaf and vine pattern embossed into the fabric as well as wonderful hand painted flowers with pops of metallic gold near the collar and along the left side and back of the kimono. The right sides of the kimono has a stunning hand painted Asian hand fan with flower accents. Jacket is lined in vibrant red silk.
Would pair great with satin lounge pants or over a dress.
Total Length: 59"
Condition: Very Good
Silk has a few slight worn spots where it looks like the previous owner wore a belt with it and it rubbed the fabric. There are also a few small pulls in the fabric and one faint stain on the collar and a few very faint brown specks in the painted flowers near the hem. Very hard to see with the busy pattern. Piece is in great condition considering the age. It is very wearable as is. Priced accordingly.
