Knockout 1940s Leopard Print Velveteen Swing Coat
Never has a coat channeled "1940s Hollywood bombshell" more than this one! It looks like it was plucked straight from Paulette Goddard's personal closet!
Fashioned in a thick leopard print velveteen, this Sunset Boulevard-ready coat features oversized 4" cuffs, hidden pockets and massive shoulder pads, which were quintessential for the 1940s vogue. Fastens at the collar with a 1.75" brown and gold glitter plastic button and with a hook and eye at the waist. Coat has side slashes at the bottom to allow for hip movement.
Jacket is fully lined in a salmon-colored quilted rayon.
Sleeve Length: 24"
Total Length: 35"
Condition: Very Good
The lining inside the sleeves is dirty near the cuffs. The cuff lining inside the tacked cuff has shredded and is starting to show (See photos). Can be worn as is or easily concealed by slip stitching the edge of the cuff to the sleeve. Does not detract. Priced accordingly.
