Rare 1910s Czech Lampwork Glass, Mother of Pearl & Enamel Sautoir Necklace -- Possibly Early Neiger
This exquisitely ornate and strikingly beautiful necklace is truly an heirloom piece! Based on research, we do believe this may be an early Max Neiger piece.
Fashioned in heavily decorated and detailed brass, this sautoir necklace features an eye catching ruby colored swirl Czech glass three-tiered pendant surrounded by carnelian colored glass cabochons and white enamel swirls. The top portion of the pendant features a large white enamel daisy with a carnelian glass cabochon center. The bottom tier of the pendant has a round and oval shaped Czech glass bead topped with a white enamel floral bead cap.
The chain itself is made alternating mother of pearl, carnelian Czech glass and white enamel beads. There is a striking metallic silver and copper foiled Czech lampwork bead on each side of the necklace, which adds a little sparkle.
Necklace fastens with spring ring.
Total Length: 18"

There is some tarnish on the back of the pendant and one tiny spot of verdisgris on the front of the pendant. Flaws are not overly noticeable. Does not detract. Priced accordingly.
